Randazzo to lend his voice to Gavenus Photography exhibit this month. [1/16]

Gavenus Photography is proud to announce that singer/songwriter Ed Randazzo will lend his voice to the opening reception of "Marchers of the Movement: Selma and the Foot Soldiers Story."  Ed will perform select songs from the Movement.

A note from the photographer:
"I have been documenting the Civil Rights Movement for more than 10 years. The project focuses on Selma and the courageous Foot Soldiers that changed our nation.

This exhibit allows me to bring together the photographs I have made and share the stories I have been told.  It's a powerful story that people of all ages need to hear, so bring the kids. This may be their only opportunity hear this part of history."

The exhibit will run January 12 - Feb. 26, 2015 at The Widmann Gallery inside The Sheeny-Farmer Campus Center on the campus of King's College in Wilkes-Barre, Pa.  A gallery presentation will be held on January 16, 2015 (6-8pm) where Jim (Gavenus) will tell THEIR story as well as hold an open Q&A with the public.

This is your chance to see living history and meet the man behind the lens.

As most of you know, Jim is Ed’s resident photographer. The two have been working together since 2010.
